Tigh Amu (gaelic for “the house of Amu” – my sister’s married name)
sits at the end of a private road surrounded by beautiful quiet
countryside, yet it is only a 5 minute walk to the lively pubs in
Doolin village Doolin is famed as the home of traditional Irish music
and its sea food restaurants. Doolin is the ferry port for the Aran
Islands and a short drive from the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren and
the largest Stalactite in the Northern Hemisphere (now open to the

Tigh Amu is a spacious modern Irish country home, with a large
kitchen/diner. It also features an open
fireplace built from Connemara marble in the living room. Both the
living room and the family room have sliding doors leading out onto
the garden affording lovely country views.
