Radharc na Mara - Ocean Views

The timeless waves, bright, sifting, broken glass,
Came dazzling around, into the rocks,
Came glinting, sifting from the Americas
To possess Aran.

Rhadarc Na Mara… the Ocean Views

Rhadarc na Mara is Gaelic for “Ocean View”; named after its spectacular location looking out over the Atlantic ocean. The views of the ocean, Cliffs of Moher and down on the traditional Irish music village of Doolin make this a visual feast. It is beautifully situated on a quiet country road on the edge of the Burren between Doolin village and the Ballinalacken Castle. Turn left outside the front gate and it is just a short walk to Ballinalackan Castle gorge, breathtaking views of the Aran Islands and the Burren; with its wildflowers, trickling streams, subterranean rivers and boulders bulging out of the landscape. Just around the corner from the house is the largest Stalactite in the Northern Hemisphere (now open to the public and a must see). Children and adults alike can enjoy the delights of the surrounding countryside, cows, horses and donkeys; who will gladly accept a carrot or two as you pass by.
